The name CATURASA is derived from two words: CATUR and RASA.In Hinduism, CATUR refers to the number four, while in ancient Indian mysticism, it represents the four elements of life—fire, water, air, and earth.RASA, in Sanskrit, translates to essence or taste. In the context of Indian art, RASA signifies the aesthetic experience that evokes emotions which cannot be easily articulated.
The name CATURASA combines these two concepts. CATUR symbolizes the four fundamental elements of life, representing the four of us as founders, each with our own unique character. RASA reflects the unspoken emotions we share. The two "R"s in the name are merged into a single "R", symbolizing the unity of our individual feelings into one shared vision.In essence, CATURASA represents four individuals coming together with one common purpose: to create beautiful works of art and to provide a space and time for others to create their own unique masterpieces, or what we call "crafted by their own magic hands.
